July 17, 2006

Philadelphia, PA August 4, 2006 - Quaker Chroma Imaging, a graphics printing company located at 1025 Arch St. for the past 34 years, has moved to a 20,000 square foot facility in Moorestown, New Jersey. QCI has produced signage for the Andrew Wyeth Exhibit at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Philadelphia’s Sunoco Welcome America! Festival and donated all signage for the 2006 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Additions to their current services of fabric and short run printing, window/floor graphics, posters, photographs, scans, and mounting have been made in their new home.

The collection of three innovative technologies, in conjunction with QCI’s current services, will give clients the freedom to create unique marketing pieces that can convey messages in unusual and creative ways. The new equipment includes: a 10' wide dye sublimation printer that will make QCI the only company in the area with the equipment to sublimate to fabric in grand format sizes, a state of the art flat bed printer that gives clients the option of printing directly onto almost any substrate in all colors including white, and a digital die cutter that can cut almost any material into precise and intricate designs.

Co-owner Craig Tinkelman said, “We are very excited about our future. The new location and addition of equipment is the first stride of many that QCI is taking to help our clients stand out.” QCI will have several open houses to give people the opportunity to see their technology and how it can benefit them.
