PGA Magazine and Reed Exhibitions came to QCI looking for a vendor who could produce large, vibrant graphics for the PGA Merchandise Show (the largest indoor golf show in America) and Demo Day (an outdoor event covering an area over 300 yards in diameter).

The Challenge: Demo Day is at a location that is wide open; no trees, fences, or structures of any sort to hang banners from. In previous years, six foot banner stands were used, however they were lost in the open space and crowds of people. The organizers were looking for a way to create the feeling of grandeur and excitement.

Solution: QCI procured 30 portable flagpoles that were 24 feet tall. We then produced large, double sided flags on our dye sublimation equipment. The flagpoles were aligned in a V-shape, 10 yards apart and were placed right off the parking lot, creating an entrance way to the event. Every PGA professional in attendance got to walk through the V of flapping, brightly colored flags.

Conclusion: The event was a smashing success. The flagpoles were such a big hit that a few were brought inside the PGA Merchandise Show and placed at the corners of PGA Magazine’s booth. They also have since been shipped all over the country to help highlight Play Golf America Days.
