Producing Floor Graphics is a three step process that includes;
- Eco Solvent Printing to Adhesive Vinyl
- Pressure Sensitive Over Laminating
- Digital Die Cutting to Desired Shape
QCI gives you the choice of cost effective Short Term Floor Talkers, as well as Long Term Floor Talkers. For both solutions we meet industry safety standards for non-slip performance (ASTM D 2047).
For our durable Long Term Floor Talkers we print to the 3M Controltac IJ162 series of Adhesive Vinyl products. The 3M Performance Warranty and 3M Performance Guarantee factors in when Controltac is used in conjunction with approved 3M Overlams. This applies to most indoor hard surface flooring and industrial carpet surfaces.
Areas out of warranty:
- Application to loose, broken or unsound flooring material
- Application to playing surfaces such as gymnasium floors
- Graphics applied to substrates other than those recommended
- Graphics made of individually laminated cut numbers, letters and characters
- Graphics exposed to rain, snow or other liquid contamination
Printable Anti-Slip Media:
ClearWalk Transparent and CatWalk Opaque are both printable Anti-Slip Media that can be used indoors for short and medium term applications. The film consists of a dimensionally stable film with a textured, non-slip surface. The reverse side is coated with a pressure sensitive adhesive, which can be applied indoors on various surfaces and remains easily removable, without residue, even after long use. ClearWalk and CatWalk provide an extremely secure, slip resistant and chemical resistant surface. Moreover, the quick and easily portable product is extremely foot friendly. The waterproof adhesive and associated durability of the film guarantee a versatile usability. ClearWalk and CatWalk are ASTM D-2047 certified and they meet the Euro-Norm as DIN/EN.
